Jason Briggs, originally from THE COUNTY ( Aroostook) raises funds to purchase Maine Potatoes for Food Banks throughout Maine. The Maine Farmers Exchange (MFX) and local farmers in THE COUNTY provide potatoes and shipping.

Potatoes are delivered to food banks, schools, Boys & Girls clubs, and soup kitchens throughout Maine. Over 30 tons of Maine spuds are delivered. The Harrison Food Bank received 3 tons.

Potato Palooza is a fundraiser to support these efforts. We invite everyone to join us November 1st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the 3rd annual Potato Palooza at Dimillo’s Restaurant in Portland.

Feast on Maine Potato Products, Baked, Mashed, Tater Tots, French Fries and Maine Chips with Turkey and Maine Clam Chowder.
